“On Monday, in a press article written by Linne Fulcher, Vice President, Consumer Strategy, Walmart U.S., the big box store revealed the new program. “We know that a customer’s easiest return is one they never have to make,” writes Fulcher.

“But we, too, know the reality of being gifted a third air fryer or that ugly Christmas sweater … that wasn’t actually intended to be ugly. Combined with a year unlike any other, we knew it was time to look at our return policies and processes to ensure they were safe and headache-free.”

The new program, dubbed Carrier Delivery by FedEx, can now be availed by consumers to arrange the return of goods delivered and sold by Walmart.com. And it’s easy: just pick the things you want to return after creating a return request on Walmart.com or the Walmart app. Select a return pickup and appointment date, next. Finally, bundle the items and put the shipping label on the package, and wait until it is picked up by FedEx.

What if you don’t have a printer? Instead of going to your local Walmart store, you can also go to the FedEx store and drop your package there. You can get a return code/QR code after choosing ‘Drop off at FedEx’ in the return form. Bring your return shipment to any FedEx Office location, and the QR code will be checked by a FedEx partner and the rest will be taken care of.
